Premier’s Restaurant and Concessions Management Division is exemplified with the
company’s operations at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack. Since 1990, Premier,
contracted by the State of California’s 22nd District Agricultural Association,
has managed the diverse and expansive food service requirements of this famed exposition,
entertainment, and thoroughbred racing venue.
The Del Mar Fairgrounds is home to the annual San Diego County Fair plus numerous
special events, trade shows and popular consumer shows, throughout the year. The
Del Mar Fairgrounds is also home to the summer Thoroughbred Race Meet put on by
the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Premier operates numerous high volume restaurants,
quick serve concession stands, cocktail lounges plus banquet and catering services
throughout nearly 500 acres comprising the fairgrounds site.
